Pokémon Radical Red v3.02 - Electric Monotype Elite 4 and Champion

To think I recorded these a month ago, and just got the time to release this now. Yeah, school's taking a lot. Speaking of a lot, that Champion battle may be the hardest one I did (at the over-all Elite 4/Champion Monotype battles, the Lance battle during the Bug Monotype is way, WAY worse) This, alongside the Lance battle had to seriously rely on RNG (e.g. Mega Metagross' Fire Punches had to be a low roll so that Rotom-Mow survives and the order of choice in the Lance battle)

Avril (Electivire)

I planned to use this by the Fighting Monotype. The premise is simple, have moves that are boosted by Iron Fist (Ice Punch, Plasma Fists, and Mach Punch, the first helping for Ground-types, and the last one for priority), then Close Combat for extra power.

Initially planned to be the Wash form for Water-type coverage, but because of the Lorelei team being a Rain team, I opted to go with the Mow form for Grass-coverage.

This was a last minute addition to the team, it replaces Air Balloon/Iron Barbs Togedemaru that has priority guaranteed crit Zippy Zap. I had to take advantage of the fact that it doesn't have any weaknesses and is quite defensive as well, so I made it a Mixed set and the Assault Vest for some special bulk.

This is your typical Sticky Web lead. Mental Herb in the first three to cure off Taunts and guarantee Sticky Webs. Focus Sash in the last two so it cannot be OHKOed.

Now, about the nickname (a reference to CM Punk) and the coincidence I gave it to the Pokémon, I finished the Monotype run at August 21, 2022, a full 2 weeks before AEW All Out happened and that infamous media scrum where CM Punk went off as well. It was unintentional, especially I uploaded this way too late after I finished the run. Also, made it a fully Special set, because Shift Gear would've been great with Drain Punch for recovery, but I went with more STAB options in Sludge Bomb.

I planned to use this by the Ice Monotype, but like with Rotom-Mow, it's with the Lorelei team being a Rain one (I prioritize which team I get for Lorelei on building my E4/Champion team) I've decided to go with Seviian Zebstrika. That does mean I can't use it by the Ice Monotype (since when I do the E4/Champion Monotype teams, I can't use dual-type Pokémon that were in one type, unless it has forms that differ in type). Scarfed Freeze-Dry proved to be very useful in Lorelei and Lance.
