This Day In Music October 12, 1974 Blondie First Plays at CBGB's

The band previously performed at CBGB's under their original name of The Stillettos, however, October 12, 1974 was their first show under the new name Blondie.
The band played two shows under the name "Angel and The Snake", before settling on "Blondie" Lead singer, Deborah Harry, noted the new name was inspired from catcalls from NYC truck drivers yelling, "Hey Blondie".
