CAMP LEJEUNE, N.C. (Sept. 12, 2025) — U.S. Marines and Spain’s Infantería de Marina disembark from the amphibious ship SPS Galicia at Onslow Beach during UNITAS 2025.
Now in its 66th year, UNITAS is the world’s longest-running annual multinational maritime exercise, first conducted in 1960. The training strengthens joint maritime operations, enhances tactical proficiency, and incorporates unmanned air, surface, and submarine systems to advance partner-nation cooperation.
