Characteristics of Christ | Life with Gwen and Joe

Most of us have heard that we should treat others with kindness, even if we have been treated rudely or unfairly...but imagine how different the world would be if everyone truly put that idea into practice! Instead of judging and condemning others, what if we worked on forgiving those who have treated us wrongly? Every day is an opportunity to imitate and implement the characteristics of Jesus Christ, the Son of God, who walked the earth as a perfect example of the beautiful characteristics and personality of God! “The Characteristics of Christ” is the theme of Remnant Fellowship’s Summer Daycamp 2020, and in this week’s episode of “Life with Gwen and Joe,” Joe and Gwen highlight the principles of kindness and forgiveness in an amazing message for young and old. As Joe shares several powerful verses from Scripture, Gwen and Joe charge the camp audience to avoid anger, focus on their own wrongdoing, and practice forgiving others so that they too will be forgiven by God (Matthew 6:15). Join Gwen and Joe as they share real-life examples of God’s incredible honor given to those who do not take revenge into their own hands and instead leave room for God to be their Defender. Jesus Christ practiced forgiveness and asked us to do the same, and it is a powerful, peaceful, and fun-filled way to live.
