I have always been a huge fan of these cars, and this one is exceptionally pretty. Power comes from a supercharged 1.8 litre engine mated to a 5-speed automatic gearbox with tiptronic function. That means silky smooth performance, delivering an impressive 163 bhp to the rear wheels. That gives the SLK impressive performance with a 0-60 time of just 8 seconds. As a result it's a fun car to drive - But it's also very refined on the motorway where you really get to appreciate the excellent build quality and cruise control function.

Few manufacturers evoke an image of quality and prestige as much as Mercedes-Benz and the SLK lives up to the reputation. The solidity of this car is evident the moment you open the door - The interior has been crafted from quality materials and all the switchgear operates with a precision that is testament to the engineering excellence these cars are famed for. The cars 5 speed automatic gearbox is one of the smoothest you will ever experience and it has a tiptronic manual function for when you want to have full control of the ratios. Driven respectfully the SLK will deliver a combined fuel consumption of around 34 mpg which is a credible figure when you consider this cars performance. Whilst the SLK is the smallest of Mercedes roadsters it is also the prettiest... This is a true roadster with a long bonnet and real road-presence. The SLK is sleek and low and has real presence, being well-proportioned and muscular-looking. It attracts attention and admiration in a positive way and doesn't cause resentment from other road users.

The SLK looks good with roof up or down. That roof is of course fully electric with no awkward clasps or clips to wrestle with - Its glides away in seconds and stows itself in the boot to reveal the striking lines of a thoroughbred sports car. The cars leather interior is comfortable and having the gorgeous aluminium embellishment and chrome trim, really adds to the classy feel. In my opinion, this has to be one of the best quality, most outstanding SLKs in this price range - Although this car has done 116k miles from new, it is in truly exceptional condition. It looks simply stunning as you can see in the photos. Whenever you drive this SLK It picks you up and whisks you away silently and without any fuss yet it covers ground at such a rapid pace that you will always arrive at your destination sooner than you thought. The ride and handling are also excellent but with a limo-like ride quality that you simply would not get on any other roadster. I noted that this particular SLK still feels solid & tight - you can tell from behind the wheel that this is a quality product which has been superbly well looked after - On long journeys you will appreciate this cars superb driving position and comfortable leather seats which ensure you always feel totally relaxed.
