How Layton Forever Changed Ace Attorney

This is a video where I talk about the development history of Professor Layton vs Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney and how its creation affected the future of the Ace Attorney franchise.

I have been a fan of Ace Attorney for a long time and I've always thought that Professor Layton vs Phoenix Wright was one of the most interesting installments in the franchise, due to its general weirdness and surprisingly important place in AA's history. After hearing rumors that The Great Ace Attorney series was finally going to be localized last year, I started thinking about this crossover again. In many ways The Great Ace Attorney is a spiritual sequel to the Layton crossover so I decided to make a video illustrating this while also talking about the game's history and overall impact on the AA franchise. Hope people enjoy it.
