How to fix a P0117 Code: Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor 1 Circuit Low
The Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor (ECT) is a Thermistor that changes resistance with the temperature.
The Engine Control Module (ECM) has read the ECT sensor input went to more than 0.14 Volts or 140°C (284°F), indicating a wiring issue.
