Ramjets were one of the first types of jet engine ever created. Essentially they create a controlled explosion 50 or 60 times per second. This gives them their distinctive “buzz saw” sound that earned them the nickname “buzz bomb” in WW II. Join Wayne Harris as he experiences one of these homemade engines up close and personal.
