Starting from approximately 7200 photographs taken from the International Space Station by Kimiya Yui on November 7th, we created this #timelapse.
This is a highly accelerated sequence covering 140 minutes of real time, created from Kimiya's shots to highlight a change in the Station's attitude.
The Cargo Dragon CRS-33, visible in the lower-left part of the frame, is initially positioned forward, which is the standard orientation. However, because an ISS reboost was scheduled using a thruster kit installed in that Dragon's "trunk," it was necessary to rotate the Station 180° to "push" it and raise its orbit. By the end of the footage, you will notice that the Dragon is now at the aft (just look at the direction of the Earth's movement).
The video is accelerated by approximately 45 times compared to the Station's real speed (note: the acceleration factor is not constant).
