Since 1980, Canada has lost 55 Canadian Paramedics, both military and civilian performing their duties as Paramedics. Over a year of traveling with the Fallen Canadian Paramedic Memorial Bell. I have been able to do the research on who our Canadian Paramedics were, how they died, where they are buried, as well life after their deaths with scholarships, buildings named after them, streets named after our fallen, monuments/memorials and so much more.
I wanted to put as much energy into our bell by bringing it to the incident sites, the graves, each province of Canada, as well to the family and friends, co-workers, military members and Paramedic crew members. I wanted to put as much energy into the bell tour across Canada as well the United States to selected sites and CAPTURE THE ENERGY onto our Fallen Canadian Paramedic Memorial Bell. This portion of the tour, our bell went across Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta, British Columbia, Yukon, Northwest Territories and into the United States by visiting 20 US States, as well the US Weekend of Remembrance for fallen US Paramedics and EMTs in Arlington VA. Next year I will put more of the US sites visited into that video.
I have started a GoFund Me account to assist in some of the expenses, such as Ferry Rides, hotels and food. I am planning on traveling to Quebec as well the Maritimes from June 1st to June 14th 2025 to complete the remaining graves and incident sites of our fallen Canadian Paramedics. I would also like to participate in the Weekend of Remembrance again in July 2025 in Arlington VA as well bring our bell to other sites and capture the energy if possible.
Our bell will be front and centre during the Ontario Paramedic Ride from Toronto Ontario to Ottawa Ontario to raise money for our National Fallen Canadian Paramedic Monument in Ottawa Ontario. We have secured the land and now we need to continue to raise money for the monument. Whatever money leftover will go to the Canadian Paramedic Memorial Foundation. Thank you for the all who have supported me during this adventure to capture the energy on our bell by going across Canada.
As you know and will see, I am very passionate to tell their stories. After the tour I will put together another video of a summary of the tour as well do individual stories of our fallen Canadian Paramedics.
The video that you are about to see is just over a year long journey. 1000s of hours of research, travel, interviews, collecting of pictures as well video for you to see today. Your support is appreciated and felt to the core. With your assistance I hope I hope to complete this tour and once completed, as well once our monument is finished, I will bring our Fallen Canadian Paramedic Memorial Bell to the selected site and transfer all the energy from the bell onto our monument that honours, remembers and celebrates our fallen heroes.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I give you my word that the money raised will be used respectfully, honourably, and responsibly.
