2.0l Turbo LNF motor with only 23k: Uncovered and Drained
Complete engine disassembly to see where this engine went wrong, and if it's even salvageable.
In this video, we completely drain the engine of oil and antifreeze, and remove the harmonic balancer and timing cover.
The purpose of this video is to help you locate the components and bolts that require removal in order to strip a GM 2.0 l LNF Turbo engine down to the block.
PRO TIP: When rotating the engine on the engine stand, it's best to have a helping hand just in case the engine shifts over tilts the stand over.
Final note: it is highly recommended to replace cylinder head bolts when putting it back together, because you risk snapping the bolts in the block when torquing down the old ones.
