Welcome back! Today we are flying from Frankfurt to Madrid on LATAM's Business Class on the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner.

As we are flying Business class, you will get a glimpse of the Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounge, which is the one LATAM uses at Frankfurt Airport. The lounge itself is quite good, nothing very special, but still an enjoyable place to spend a couple hours before your flight. There is a nice selection of food and drinks, from cold cuts to warm dishes, as well as different sorts of german beers, wine, and soft drinks. They even had nachos with salsa :)

After my experience on LATAM's 787 aircraft, I would undoubtedly go for LATAM on a long haul flight. The onboard service is outstanding. The crew delivered the best service I've ever had on a flight, not just because this was a Business Class flight. I have traveled in Economy Class with LATAM as well, and the crew has always been fantastic, delivering extraordinary service, with a big smile on their faces, giving the passengers a warm and personal treat. Good job LATAM!

The onboard service starts right at the moment you get to your seat, with a welcome drink and warm nuts. Before departure, the crew introduces themselves to each passenger in the Business cabin. After departure, a hot towel is handed out. During this 2 hour flight, a fresh dinner is served, with one option for the main course. The dishes are prepared with fresh, seasonal ingredients and are diligently presented. The food quality is really good in my opinion. There was a wide selection of drinks and wines to accompany the meal. The crew did frequent rounds with drinks keeping the passengers well hydrated.

The inflight entertainment onboard LATAM comes with a vast selection of movies, TV shows, music, podcasts, etc. The airshow channel worked perfectly too. The seat is indeed very comfortable and it is lie-flat. I wouldn't say this is the best layout for Business Class when it comes to privacy, though the space for each passenger is extraordinary.
