THIS IS IT! The complete Norwegian Xplorer Van prep routine video where I winterize my vanlife van for extreme conditions with blizzard, snow storm & extreme temperatures in the Arctic.

My name is Jarl, and I spend the entire winters in the arctic with my basic no-build van experiencing dramatic and shocking weather conditions in the arctic. Last year I experienced massive blizzard and snow storms every week and the occasional hurricane. I show you how I prepare my Fiat Ducato, Ram Promaster in the USA and Canada, for these extreme winter conditions. I talk about my van and tour the heating system, water system, electric system, emergency redundancy system, wheel and tires for winter, clothing, tools and gear. Engine fluids vs cold temperatures, diesel and much more. I also talk about insurance and my motivation behind having the basic van that I have as opposed to something like and Earth Roamer or overland expedition vehicle, and last but not least I am mounting my Starlink permanently on my van roof.
