Hello and welcome back to the channel! In this episode, we spend a night of solitude at the Polentswa Pan. We get lucky with game Game and languish in our new rhythm. We then cross the border, leaving the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park to enter Botswana at the Kaa Gate in the Hukuntsi Conservancy. Now completely alone, we navigate the vast ocean of Kalahari sand to the remote and serene Name Pan and drop anchor for two nights. And, as always, the field kitchen delivers another firm favorite right in the middle of the track. Sit back and relax Dial down and tune in and let us do the heavy lifting.

Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park:

Hukuntsi Conservancy:

The Hukuntsi Conservancy is a lesser-known gem in the eastern remote corner of Botswana
Hukuntsi, which means ‘many corners’ in the local language, reflects the region’s complex and varied landscape. The conservancy is home to a diverse array of wildlife, including gemsbok, springbok, and hartebeest, as well as predators like lions and hyenas .
The conservancy plays a crucial role in supporting the traditional livelihoods of the local communities, who practice sustainable livestock farming and subsistence hunting.

For overlanders, the Hukuntsi Conservancy offers a chance to explore one of Botswana’s most remote and untouched regions.
