"Take Me Home, Country Roads" (also known as "Take me Home" or just "Country Roads") first appeared on John Denver’s 1971 album "Poems, Prayers and Promises".

It's arguably the most famous song about West Virginia, and was declared one of its official state anthems in 2014!

Soon after its original release, "Country Roads" became one of John Denver's signature songs, one today it's one of the most famous country songs of all time.

It also makes for a fantastic piano cover!
