MSRLM Initiatives for IDPs in CCpur

MSRLM, Churachandpur in its capacity has initiated some initiatives to support internally displaced persons (IDP) mainly focusing on capacitating them to be resilient. Under MSRLM, in order to provide support to any person or individual, one has to be a member of Self-Help Group and register under DAY-NRLM. However, we do whatever is possible at our level to capacitate the IDPs. Some of the initiatives which were undertaken till now are given below:

1. Dishwash Making Training : 198 beneficiaries
2. Total no. of IDPs provided Financial Assistance from selling Dishwash prepared by the IDPs themselves @1500/head: 198
3. Total number of IDP trained on Wool Knitting: 64
4. No. of IDP SHG provided Books of Account training: 27
5. Total no. of IDP SHGs provided Basic SHG Management training: 27
6. Total No. of IDPs sent for Airline Cabin Crew training at Jett wings, Info Valley, Guwahati under DDU-GKY: 35
7. Total no. of IDPs sent for Hospitality Management at Gurgaon, New Delhi under DDU-GKY: 24
8. Total no. of IDPs sent for Hospital Front Desk Coordinator Training at Shri Shiddhi Vinayak, Guwahati under DDU-GKY: 10
9. Total no. of IDP sent for Capacity Building training at BIPARD, Gaya, Bihar for 14 days: 24
10. Total number of Financial Literacy program conducted in IDP Camps: 5
11. Total number of CIF loan given to IDP SHG members: 21
12. Total amount of CIF Loan given to 21 IDH SHG Members: Rs. 5,77,000/-
