In this video I head out chasing two of Australia’s most iconic freshwater species — Murray cod and yellow belly (Callop) — using a range of Spinwright lures.
I work likely structure, including timber, drop-offs, and current breaks, experimenting with different retrieves and lure styles to see what triggers a reaction bite. Murray cod are known for their aggressive strikes and yellow belly for their powerful runs, and both species put the gear to the test in this session.
