I walk around Bueng Thung Sang Health Park, Khon Kaen, which is surprisingly beautiful and well maintained. If you visit Khon Kaen then you must visit this place (link below) ... though maybe not in midday sun like me! I walk and talk about everything that has bothered me since living in and around rural Thailand for so long as nowhere is perfect... including all of my regrets such as living here during my potentially most important career/working years. Do I have any real regrets? Watch and find out. If you are fairly young and married in Thailand or relocating to Thailand to work as a teacher or similar (whether in Khon Kaen, Bangkok or Chiang Mai), then there are things you may need to consider if you decide to do so well before retirement age.
