“Rhythms to our Ancestors” is a collaborative EP project, produced by Nzango Artist Residency, between Mozambique and Switzerland musicians in honor of their grandfathers and the rhythmic heritage inherited from them through music, songs and Timbila and Keyboard instruments, respectively. In this project, the tracks are inspired by Timbila's Chopi musicality and the songs inherited by Matchume Zango from your grandfather Venâncio Mbande, in fusion with Jul Dillier's Swiss musicality influenced by jazz, minimalism / minimal music, preciselocking, inter clockworks, and your lyrics /songs are inspired by your grandfather's poems, the poet Julian Dillier.
