[MHFU] The Final Invitation, SNS, Sleep Bombing (6★ Village) (Optional)

So anyways I started bombing

Ok, so, first off, this video is heavily inspired by this video:

To be completely honest, before looking it up and finding that, I had no idea how to do this quest at this point in the game. I was just going to ignore it and move on.

Anyways, here's the gameplan:
You put each monké to sleep, and bomb it twice, the second time you set up a trap and tranquilize it to capture it. Easy, right? Well, you're fighting a Rajang, and the second one is fuckin HUGE, which complicates things.

Definitely eat for extra health, meat and veggies folks, it's good for ya, sticks to your bones.
Without extra health, his spin attack will one shot you. Also consider upgrading your armor, your choice. There are ways to get these skills with a slightly higher defense, but I chose this because it was easy to make and wasn't that much lower. Also consider bringing max potions and/or an ancient potion if you cart, because having that extra bit of health will save you. You can bring Armorskin as well/armor seeds. Your call.

For the first monké, fight it as usual, avoid the spin attack like hell, sleep bomb it twice and capture it. I couldn't put it to sleep the second time before doing a bunch of damage to it, so I actually just ended up killing it. Oops. If you don't want to have to deal with capturing, you can just not bring traps (or combine books) and instead use the space for other things. Attack the side of it, as being in front or behind it is very dangerous. If you're behind it, watch out for his back hop, if you're in front, favor his right side (your left) because if he does the kelbi jump move, he will jump left (your right) first, which can hit you, and that's no good.

Other than that, its thunder moves are pretty easy to avoid, but don't get too close to the beam attack, its hit box is larger than it looks, also make sure to not be directly in front of Rajang, because if it jumps back and shoots a thunder ball at you, that wont feel very good.

For the second monké, he's HUGE. Remember that you can only pitfall trap Rajang when it's glowing, and pitfalls are much more effective than shock traps, they last longer. Sleep the Rajang one time, and then use both pitfalls (hopefully you don't mess it up like I did) and save one to capture it with. Using both pitfalls should get you an easy second sleep, and by that time the hunt is literally over.

So yeah, being at his sides is the way to go, you're not really going for damage with your SNS, that's the bombs job... speaking of which...

It doesn't matter where you put the bombs, as soon as Rajang is put to sleep, you have 30 seconds to do whatever you need to. Plant bombs, traps, sharpen your weapon (you don't want to bounce, keep it green, seriously) drink potions etc.

Bomb damage ignores hitzones, only affected by a global defense value that isn't super worth worrying about. Here's a simplified look at what's going on.

LBB+ (Large Barrel Bomb Plus') deal 150 damage, and you can plant two of them, I'm going to ignore the small barrel bomb because it shouldn't hit Rajang, or, hopefully, hits it after the two LBB+ ok
so, with the bombardier skill, those bombs now do 225 damage each, that's pretty good! And finally, the sleep modifier, the first hit dealt to a sleeping monster will be multiplied by 3. That's... insane...

So what we got here is (225 * 3) + 225 = 900
Or you could just say it as you're hitting it with effectively 4 bombs. That's a CRAZY amount of damage, considering both Rajangs have health of around 2250.
Two sleep bombs alone will cut their health down to 450, and with all of the attacks you're dealing besides that, it's kinda easy to accidentally kill it. Hopefully I didn't forget anything. Good luck!!
