After a routine and rapid early morning journey of 2 hours 27 minutes from the modern and colossal hustle and bustle of downtown Tokyo, I finally arrived at Shin-osaka Station safely at 9.39 a.m. on Track No. 21. Checking to see that I had not left anything behind in the train cabin, I alighted from the train and promptly took the nearest escalator downwards to the Shinkansen transit concourse prior to proceeding over to the JR Line interchange ticketing gates.
