Winter can be such a beautiful time in New England (think Norman Rockwell), but it can also completely suck! Lot's of darkness, cold, ice, dangerous driving, dirty snow etc... .
In this video I'll share what you need to have in order to survive winter in New England so you can enjoy the beauty if the season. If you watch to the end, I'll also share one important safety tip that you might you not think of, especially if you're new to our snowy climate. Read below to learn more:
Tolls you need:
1. A variety of shovels
2. A roof rake
3. A bucket of sand/salt
4. Good pair of waterproof snow boots
5. Snow pants, jacket, mittens etc.
6. Warm pair of wool socks
Important safety tip:
Always make sure your exterior dryer vent is free of snow. If not, the fumes of the dryer vent can not escape.
