Sometimes people are reluctant to make a demand for a jury trial when they're sued for debt. We argue that you should. Although the proceedings feel a little more intimidating, juries are actually easier to talk to than judges, and your demand for jury trial will force the judge to take your case more seriously. That's important for a debt defendant, where we depend on the judge taking the rules of evidence seriously.
