--Recipe:
3 cups all purpose flour
3 cups sugar
2 teaspoons baking soda
2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon baking powder
2 teaspoons ground allspice
1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon cloves
4 eggs
1 can (15 ounces) solid pack pumpkin
3/4 cup vegetable oil
2/3 cup water
1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)
In a large bowl, combine eggs, oil, water, and pumpkin
In another bowl, combine all the dry ingredients. Pour dry ingredients into large bowl with egg mixture and stir just until moistened. Pour into three greased and floured 8x4x2 inch loaf pans.
Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour. Test for doneness with a toothpick. Let cool for 5-10 minutes before removing from pan. Slice and eat it warm with butter, or store in the refrigerator or freezer after it cools completely.
