For acrylic pouring, knowing whether our paint is transparent or opaque can make or break your fluid art project.

Opacity of paint refers to the amount of light that can pass through the paint. Opaque paints reflect almost all light while transparent paints let most of the light through them.

For pouring when we layer tranparent and opaque paints corrrectly we can achieve color combinations that play off of each other to create amazing abstract art.
