I wrote this song about a friend who was always stuck between choices. Who to be with? Which city to live in? Which role to take on? Things always seemed better anywhere but here. The paralysis of indecision was painful to witness, and people got hurt along the way. You can't get what you can't communicate, and you can't communicate what you haven't chosen. I think it's always better to choose, even if it's the wrong choice—you can almost always choose again.
