I noticed that Rat King has a congratulations screen when completing tournament mode. Even though he's not normally selectable in the Tournament Mode. Bosses are locked to vs mode codes only unless you use a rom hack or game code alterations to force them playable on character slots.
Karai has no ending in Tournament mode or anything, it's just her win quotes.
