This session will navigate the vital role of religious leaders and faith-based actors in defending the principles of the UN Charter amid rising conflicts, polarisation, and humanitarian crises. It will explore how faith communities can rebuild trust, challenge narratives that dehumanize “the other,” and promote reconciliation, while empowering women and youth to lead peacebuilding efforts. Participants will discuss the practical ways religious voices can uphold human dignity, support international law, and counter aggression and hate, offering a platform for interfaith collaboration to advance sustainable peace and shared humanity.
