All the contracts will remain in effect, no matter what (even if you swap stances with Purple Tear, though this DOES remove the contract cards from your hand).

Therefore, the struggle is twofold.
1) Avoiding losing a lot of hp from using cards with the banned cost, or leaving light leftover.
2) Tanking the shades, whose damage will ramp up. This is especially true for a Hokma solo (as compared to using an assistant to solo), since the shades use stronger attacks in place of copying a card, something easily cheesed by having one PT stance be full of trash cards.

However, you can stack enough protection from passives & the Confession abnormality page to become basically immortal. My strategy was to get endurance up on turn 3 and hope that I got a sturdy defense/rewind with the right light cost to get buffed, then use it to dodge a shade's attacks so Hokma doesn't get staggered early and take a ton of damage. Admittedly, this wouldn't be necessary had I simply picked a blunt resistant keypage, like Yan's.

Using Penitence or Sound of a Star can help significantly with spending all your light every turn, though try to avoid using Sound of a Star too much, lest you kill the shades and go into phase 2.

Edit: actually, is phase 2 even an issue? I don't know if Pluto can entrap Hokma if he's alone. Guess I should've tested that lmfao.

Should be noted that counter pages seem to work weirdly here. You lose health according to their randomized cost, but it seemed like you gain/lose power according to their original cost? I wasn't aware of this until reviewing the VOD, but it seems like that's what happened.

As a heads up, taking Confession will also recover you from stagger (as the page says), so getting staggered at the end of turn 3 is fine. The abnormality pages you take after emotion lvl 3 don't matter though.
Baptism would've been really great to have for both healing and light consumption, but it doesn't work solo :/
