The Xiaomi TV Box S (3rd Gen), the successor to the model that wasn't updated last year, has been released and offers comprehensive features. While not yet widely available in major retailers or the official store, it can currently be purchased at Powerplanet and other outlets.

Design-wise, the 3rd Gen features a more streamlined and rounded aesthetic compared to its predecessor. More significantly, it delivers 4K UHD resolution and supports Dolby Vision and HDR10+ for enhanced picture quality, contingent on TV compatibility. It also supports Dolby Atmos and DTS:X for an immersive audio experience, making it ideal for movie and series viewing.

Internally, the device is powered by a quad-core A55 6nm processor with a maximum clock speed of 2.5GHz, coupled with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. It runs on Google TV, has built-in Chromecast, and supports WiFi 6. The package includes a Bluetooth remote control.
