In 1970 Don "Snake" Prudhomme, and Tom "Mongoose" McEwen each raced a funny car sponsored by Mattel "Hot Wheels". They transported the cars on "Haulers" that carried not only the car, but everything else the teams needed to make repairs.
On July 23, 2011, Don and Tom brought out the funny cars, complete with their haulers to show together. The event was the Annual Crower car show and family get together. And when they pulled in, all you could do was gaze at what we took for granted, so many years ago.
