This time we are taking our project Regulator 34 out for some prop testing with Rev4 19 props. After filming we continued to run the boat on a few more runs in open water and we were able to reach 66mph, with still some RPM's to go. We think this prop currently is going to be a great set up for good performance out of the whole as well as mid range cruise. Have any questions about this project? drop us a line at [email protected] and let us know what we can do for you.
All right, guys. So we are heading back out again for round three of the regulator 34 Triple Verado 400 Repower REFIT package. Today, we're going to go spin up a pair of four blade rev 4 19 inch. Again, we should have a pretty good sea conditions out there for us. Water temp 60 air temps in the upper 60. So we get some nice cool water cooler air for this thing to turn up on. We're sitting still pretty solid and just a tick under half a tank of fuel. So we're going to go ahead. I've got props are on. We're going to go head out and let's see what kind of numbers we can turn up. I think hopefully this is going to be that happy medium prop for us where we can finally just do a little a little bit of fine tuning and tweaking on everything. So let's go hit the water. Let's see what kind of numbers we can dig up and go from there. All right. So we're just going to go ahead. We're going to give this thing one more run and let's see how she does here. This is churning the rev 4 19 props. We're going to head north here a little bit and see how she does. All right. Coming up. Here we are. Full tuck. 5300. 47 miles an hour that looks like kind of bouncing around a little bit. Go ahead. Let's turn her up and see what she does. All right. So big boat traffic going by there. All right. We saw low sixties on that one. So go ahead, spin around. Let's see what we can do going the other way. All right. So now we're going to go ahead. We're going to do the run the opposite direction just as we got to get our balance set. You know, you never just take one reading off of that. So we're going to go ahead. We're going to push this up and to go same thing again, run it full, tuck up, see what our Max R.P.M. is at full tuck, then start trimming her up and see what we can get from there. So let's see what we got coming up. Here we are full tuck. 5300 R.P.M.. 5449 miles an hour out of our. There's a little bit of chop here. We'll go ahead and we'll start bringing the bough up. Get a little trim on. Broke about 60, maybe 61 on that one. Getting it trimmed up. So we've got to take those numbers, put in the computer, see what it spits out on the other end as far as what kind of tweaks we need to do on this. And let's see what we can really make happen with this vote. As always, guys, thank you for tuning in. First, checking it out. Have any questions about this project? If you're thinking about doing a similar project, maybe you want to do a repower on your boat. Be sure to hit us up [email protected]. Give us a follow YouTube, Instagram and Facebook. And I'm going continue doing some laps here and checking some dialing some things in. And as we do, I'll be sure to show you guys as this progresses along. And that's it. That's all I got. See you guys next time. Peace.
