Drug Bust: NDLEA Destroys 1.6 Million Kilograms Of Seized Consignment

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has destroyed approximately 1.6 million kilograms of confiscated illicit drugs seized from across Lagos, Ogun, and Oyo states.

Speaking at the destruction site in Ipara, Ogun State, along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, the NDLEA Chairman, Brig. Gen. Mohamed Buba Marwa (Retd), represented by the Director of Assets and Financial Investigation, Ibrahim Abdul, described the event as the agency’s largest single-day destruction of narcotics in history.
