13 times Angel the series mentions BTVS

Some easter eggs, if you will, where Angel the series mentions happenings, characters, quotes, etcetera from Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Ok, one of these is actually Angel referencing Angel, but I include "I Will Remember You" so completely with Buffy that it counts, haha.

The vengeance demon Halfrek recognizes "William" but both deny they know each other.
Halfrek and Cecily are played by the same actress, as are a few other unrelated characters in the franchise. This scene is a nod to the resemblance and leaves the audience free to speculate that perhaps Cecily's fate was to become a vengeance demon.

Anya lists possible worlds Olaf the troll could have ended up in, including the world without shrimp

Bonus: Another reference to the world without shrimp is in a comic reboot of the series. After Dark House Comics finishes the continuation of the series, Boom! Comics reimagines the series from a new beginning. It's set in an alternate universe, which happens to be the world without shrimp.
