Iron Man is the only character besides Captain America in this game that doesn't actually have any superpowers. He's just a guy in a suit of powerful armor.

Iron Man has an air dash where he'll fly in any direction and then stop in place before falling. He also just fly freely for a few seconds. If you're quick enough, you may even be able to extend your Air Combos this way.

In this game, Tony Stark's specialty Infinity Gem is the Soul Gem. For the very short amount of time it's active, all of Iron Man's normal attacks will do extra electric damage. This will even drain a little bit of the opponent's Super Meter.

Man, I remember when I played the Playstation 1 version of this game, where I first learned about Iron Man and everyone else not named Wolverine, Spider-Man, Hulk, and Magneto. Iron Man's Proton Cannon would take so damn long to finish because of the lag that version has. So it kinda shocks me seeing how fast it can happen in other games or other version of this game, like this Arcade version I'm playing.

After defeating Thanos, Iron Man uses the Infinity Gems to set the other heroes free, then he disposed of the Gems due to the thought of how anyone could use and abuse their power. Like he said it himself: "Let someone else be God."

However, later on, he couldn't resist the temptation of having those gems since his nervous system healed. With his Avenger leader, Captain America, cheering him up, Iron Man was ready for the next battle.

Civil War or not, let it be known that Iron Man's ending is always the same whether or not you end up having to fight Captain America during your Arcade run.
