Camping in a canyon (in CRAZY wind!), hiking, & BISON at Caprock Canyons State Park in Texas!

We've headed 7 hours northwest of Austin to the Texas Panhandle for a couple weekend adventures in our van. And first up: the gorgeous Caprock Canyons State Park!

We spent a weekend hiking out to a primitive campsite and sleeping in the canyon for a night (in CRAZY wind), which was....an experience 😂 , hiking one of the best trails in the park, and seeing tons of bison!
