Mixed vegetables (carrot, beans, peas, potato) – 1 to 1.5 cups
Onion – 1 (sliced)
Tomato – 1 (chopped)
Ginger-garlic paste – 1 tsp
Green chillies – 2
Pudina leaves – handful
Coriander leaves – handful
Spices:
Bay leaf – 1
Cinnamon – 1 small piece
Cloves – 3
Cardamom – 2
Star anise – 1
Biryani masala / palav masala – 1 tbsp
Salt – as needed
Oil and ghee – 4 tbsp
Water – 2 cups
