Attic Insulation, Solar and Pesa Vegia Festival Bellano

Happy New Year from Lake Como! 🎉 We're back to work on our villa renovation, and with temperatures dropping, our first priority is insulating the Villa. But it’s not so straightforward! The only way to access the top attic is by removing tiles on the roof and climbing through to the loft space. 😱 Valentin braves the heights to install brackets for solar panels, while Andrew keeps his feet firmly on the ground... well almost!.

Meanwhile, the nearby village of Bellano is celebrating Pesa Vegia, LA FESTA DELLE VACANZE an incredible historical festival full of parades, fireworks, and local traditions. Sadly, Valentin isn't feeling well, so he missed out on joining friends for the festivities, but we share some highlights of this unique Lake Como event.
