Background:
In January 2019, Rabab Luxor launched the Garbage Music Project. The project uses art and music to raise awareness and mobilize communities to reduce and reuse plastic and beat plastic pollution, Over 6 months, children between 12 and 16 years old, boys and girls, from Luxor learned how to make musical instruments out of re-purposing waste (percussion, blowing and string instruments) and to perform music as a band: The Garbage Music Band.
