Gavin Neate spent 18 years employed by Guide Dogs for the Blind as a Mobility Instructor.
In 2003 he became involved in research around GPS and its use by Blind and Visually Impaired people. By 2005 mobile phones were totally accessible to his clients and by 2007 he was delivering talks on how technology was changing the lives of all disabled people, not just the blind and visually impaired.
In 2011 he incorporated Neatebox and began actively developing solutions to address the challenges that weren't being addressed by mainstream companies and developers.
Gavin will be discussing his journey and the changing environment into which he has launched his award-winning flagship "Social Good" solutions, WelcoMe and Button.
