Don Welge bridge, Chester IL - 5-7-2025. It started early today for everyone. They are pouring the final driving surface of piers 1-3. The first concrete truck on the job was around 4am. Shout out to RMC Readymix LLC , Howard Concrete Pumping Co., Inc., and all the workers who made this happen. The rain postponed this pour several times. 650 yards altogether. You will get to see the Terex 4800 concrete paver in action. I used all six batteries to record this...hope you can watch until the end. Good stuff. You will also notice that they put another section on pier 4. It's almost connected to pier 1-3 now. Enjoy! #donwelgememorialbridge #chesterbridge
