Batesville Arkansas to Murray Kentucky and Back With Bad Boy Mower Parts

It’s July 10, 2025, and today’s trip captures a full cycle of dedicated equipment freight — from delivery to return to reload. We’re starting the morning off in Batesville, Arkansas, where we’re offloading a shipment of Hydro-Gear transaxles at the Bad Boy Mowers facility. This load originated in Murray, Kentucky just yesterday, and now it’s time to complete the loop.

Once the transaxles are unloaded, we’re reloading the empty metal racks that held them — sturdy, reusable frames that go right back to Hydro-Gear’s manufacturing site for refilling. This kind of backhaul helps keep supply chain costs in check and ensures there’s minimal equipment downtime for the receiver.

The return route takes us northeast across rural Arkansas, cutting through rolling farmland before hitting Missouri highways and eventually crossing back into western Kentucky. It’s a familiar run with light freight on the trailer — but it’s just the middle of the story.

Once we arrive back at the Hydro-Gear facility in Murray, we’ll drop the empty racks and reload with a fresh batch of transaxles, ready for delivery back to Bad Boy Mowers on July 11.

It’s the kind of trip that shows how tightly integrated some of these regional freight lanes can be — with the same driver, same equipment, and same shippers and receivers all working together.
