Cruise control dead on your 1st Gen Dodge? The problem isn’t always wiring — it’s the buttons. Chrysler discontinued the factory cruise control buttons years ago, and replacements are no longer available.
So what’s the fix? 👉 A steering wheel swap.
By swapping in a wheel from an early 2nd Gen Dodge, you get working cruise buttons again. The swap is completely bolt-on and uses the same pin-out for 1991.5–1993 trucks with the clock spring setup. No hacking or splicing required.
In this video, we show you exactly how we did it and how you can bring your cruise control back to life the simple way.
