Learning How To Roast Coffee Using A Drum Roaster

The first steps in learning how to roast coffee using a drum roaster will help set us up to roast some great coffee. In today’s video we will look at color progression of the beans, coffee roasting events, and use our senses to see, hear and smell the coffee. This helps us understand how temperature/heat over time affects the roasting process. This will also help us understand how our roaster performs. Once we understand its capabilities we are ready to roast coffee for flavor!
