I had a million other things to do yesterday but instead I smashed out a whole ass song for my Darklina heart 🖤🌘

I tried to do this alternating thing with the lyrics where it was the Darkling's POV for the verses and Alina's for the choruses but then I ended up having the bridge & final chorus be the Darkling's POV so just roll with the random perspectives

I think this turned into a game of 'how many book quotes can I cram into one song' but it was fun nevertheless, plus I had the books AND the tv show to draw from so inspiration was in abundance. I'm not blind to the problems in this ship but give me angst and villain/hero and light/dark soulmates over childhood-friends-to-lovers any day. I'm holding out hope for a Darklina endgame in the show since we were robbed in the books -- with Benny B captaining the ship I think we're in good hands 🤞
