In Nigeria, Olu was made to speak English over Yoruba, his first language. Now, as a filmmaker in the Midwest, he navigates the complexities of Black identity in America, while drawing comfort from South Asian flavors that evoke memories of home.

"Four Strangers" gathers a group of expatriates for a social soirée that sparks unexpected connections and insights. Each episode explores their unique stories, cultural challenges, and the shared experiences of life as newcomers to the Midwest.
