RBC is one of the most popular banks in Canada, and they offer some of the most popular credit cards in Canada 2025. This includes but is not limited to fan favourites such as the RBC Ion credit card, the RBC Ion plus credit card, the RBC Avion Visa Infinite, the WestJet RBC World Elite, and more.

In this video, we rank the RBC cards from best to worst compared to each other, not in comparison to other best Canadian credit cards 2025. This guide is intended for RBC users who want to get a credit card from RBC specifically, and are wondering which card is the best option for them.

The ranking in this list is of course subjective and purely my own personal opinion. Just because one RBC credit card is ranked higher than another one, it doesn’t necessarily mean that it is the better option for everyone. It is only a reflection of which card in my opinion is a better option for the average person out there. I will of course provide detailed explanations as to why I rank each credit card in each tier, as well as signifying the highlight features or the notable shortcomings of the card.

There are 2 RBC Cash Back credit cards. The no fee version and the paid version.

There are 3 Avion RBC credit cards. These cards get you Avion points, which are worth about 1.4 cents per point when used towards travel with partner airlines.

There are 2 Ion credit cards; these are the RBC ION Visa Credit Card & the RBC ION + Visa Credit Card. The regular Ion card is free to own, and gets you less points per dollar spent. The RBC Ion Plus Credit Card costs $48 a year to own and gets you more points on your spendings. The Ion points are worth about 1 cent per point when redeemed towards WestJet.
