The film is about the honest and tough cop Bharath (Saikumar) who grows up in a disciplined way and hates even the slightest violation of rules and honesty. In the process, Bharath arrests one of the Home Minister's followers and despite several phone calls and pressure tactics, he turns a deaf ear to all and keeps the henchmen intact. The Home Minister gets Bharath transferred to a devastated place called Durgapur in Karnataka's Bellary district. The place is ruled by the local don Simadhari (Ashish Vidyarthi) who stops at nothing to prove his power and dominance. Bharath's entry is troubling Simadhari but in no time he gives up on his methods and starts humiliating the honest policeman in every possible way.
