Relaxing Rain and Thunder with Cat Purrs for Deep Sleep (8 hours, no music)

Cat's purrs have been shown to have healing properties, and these purr sounds are all recorded from my real cats, no synth or AI was used. To anyone who cannot have cats for any reason, I invite you all to please live vicariously through my cats!!

This video features 8 hours of continuous cat's purrs along with soothing falling rain and soft, distant thunder.

The goal of this video is to offer a deep sleep, uninterrupted and restful, to people who struggle with things like PTSD, Anxiety and even Depression.

I used sound engineering to transform the purr sounds into a soft binaural beat. As a student of music theory for over 40 years, and a chronic insomniac for also 40 years, I am uniquely qualified to test these new sounds on myself as I create them.

HEADPHONES or EARBUDS are REQUIRED for the binaural beats to take effect, but the results have been incredible.

These sounds were created in order to assist with sleeping soundly, and should not be played when operating a vehicle or any machinery.

This is NOT meant to replace any advice from your doctor, but rather to be used IN ADDITION TO their advice. Also, therapy is just a good idea for everyone to do.

This is the culmination of my life's work as an autistic person who is obsessed with sounds and how they can actually CHANGE the way people feel. This is the third soundscape in a new but limitless series, and I hope to keep designing healing sounds for decades to come.

Neurodiverse listeners please let me know how well this works! I can say it works amazingly well on my particular flavor of autism, but every brain is different.

All songs and soundscapes are going to be free streaming here on YouTube, because too many of the decent binaural beats are locked behind a paywall, and sleep should be free for everyone, even the chronically afflicted.
