Wepre parkrun

Pushchairs/Buggies: Yes(But a few tough sections.)
Toilets: In building on right as you walk up from the car park
Café: Yes (Opens at 09:30 and has toilets)
Parking: Plenty and free (Height restriction on entry 7' 5")
Also on road parking outside the park.

Thank you to the RD and all the volunteers who made me feel so welcome this morning and helped me with details about the parkrun and embarrassingly the pronunciation of Wepre (Something I'll now never forget)

Everyone meets at the top end of the car park.
This is where the first timers welcome takes place and also the RD briefing.
It is then a 50 foot walk to the start.

The course has two sections, each of two laps.
Starting on the path by the car park, you run down the hill to the brook.
From here you do a small anticlockwise loop and end up running back up a hill towards the start.
After the second lap, you head up to the Café and run past it on the path.
Then you take a right turn for the start of two larger anticlockwise laps.
The lap starts with a steep uphill section followed by a flattish section.
This is followed by a long uphill section to the highest point on the parkrun.
At the top you turn left and after a short flattish section , you head back into the wood and down hill.
It is quite steep at this point.
Once at the bottom of the hill you turn left and run along another flattish path towards the point where you started the lap. There is a slight incline on this section.
Once back to the start of the lap, you turn left and do a second lap.
The next time you reach this point you head straight on to the finish which is around 50m.

The finish funnel leads you to some steps which after you have gone up, the barcode scanners are in front of you.

Wepre is a 160 acre par which has, Old Hall Gardens, A brook, Waterfall, Acres of woodland, Woodland walks, A Castle, Children's play area, 2 Football pitches, A fishing pool and a visitors centre.

At the finish, there is a lovely café which has indoor and outdoor seating.
Everyone was outside when I was there as the weather was so nice.
